We see him take his young son to play with their radio-controlled boat on a body of water. The movement of the boat attracts the attention of the crocodiles. Then, the dad brings the boat back towards him and his son so he is essentially enticing these deadly animals toward his child. The crocodile puts up with this for so long and then decides to attack with its powerful jaws. The boat is destroyed in one bite. Thankfully, neither the crocodile nor the humans are injured during the filming of this vid but it is not one to be copied!

Keeping Away From Crocodiles

Crocodiles are an ancient and powerful species. They are an apex predator and pose a danger to humans for a number of reasons. The first is their immense speed and agility. They can accelerate out of the water and onto land faster than most humans could get away, so it is best to keep away from the shoreline of crocodile-infested waters. Then there are their incredibly strong jaws, which can deliver a deadly bite to many animals, including humans. There is no getting away from the fact that crocs are aggressive toward humans and there are many accounts of people being killed by crocodiles. Unlike most other animals, who tend to leave humans alone if they can, crocodiles will actively hunt down humans on river banks and see them as legitimate prey. It is estimated that around 1,000 humans are killed by crocs every year. However, humans have also inflicted huge damage on crocodile populations. These amazing creatures have been heavily hunted for their skins, which are traded for the manufacture of coats, shoes, and bags. Crocodiles also have their habitats threatened by human activity. Most crocodile species are not under threat but five are endangered. Crocodiles have changed very little over the past 200 million years and we don’t see why they should start now. Although how many have encountered a remote-controlled boat is uncertain!
